It went all back to campus. I noticed her because she was beautiful and also so focused on her work. Whenever I wanted to speak to her and walk with her to our next class, she would speed off, books in one hand and backpack slung over one shoulder. Eventually, both of us ended up working at night together at the pharmacy, which is where we really started to talk and get to know each other. I started having a crush on her and made a move by telling her that I would drop my university notes off at her place. Long story short I asked her to be my girl friend. We then spent two years 1000kms away from each other for our community service, which had its ups and downs, including the pandemic. We got engaged in Feb 2022, planned our whole wedding and tied the knot on 1 April 2023 with an absolute fairytale wedding. Here’s to more spontaneous drives, visiting wine farms, getting ice cream, discovering new restaurants and many more!
